Idaho River Float Adventures
Idaho has more river water than any other state outside of Alaska. It has several of the last free-flowing rivers and the largest contiguous wilderness areas in the lower 48. Without question, the lure of the great outdoors is what makes Idaho great.
- Float Trips -
For a more leisurely excursion, consider a Snake River float trip. South Fork Outfitters offer half-day and full-day trips. To enjoy the full flavor of an Idaho river experience, book our Overnight Camp Trip over several days. You’ll discover more scenery, experience different types of whitewater and be more likely to come upon wildlife in their natural setting. You’ll overnight at our exclusive campsite along the South Fork of the Snake River and enjoy excellent food.
Our Outfitters take great pride in their culinary abilities and offer “gourmet” trips. South Fork Lodge executive chef's provide you with a hearty and healthy meal. You’re sure to be fascinated with the style and quality of food served on a remote beach. Your excursion will also have a private boat in which all the gear is loaded so you can concentrate on fishing or the passing scenery. The South FOrk Outfitters typically use drift boats, jet boats, or canoes if the area you would like to see warrants them.
